Scientific consultancy and commercial agency · since 1992

The bridge between science and industry. Between East and West.

WBH – Dr. Alexander Krugljakow connects leading-edge metallurgical research with European manufacturing: from scientific assessment through commercial agency to order placement.

For industrial companies · DE / EU

Solve materials problems. Run tooling longer.

You manufacture and require tool life, process reliability and sound technical decisions. We assess materials scientifically – and bring proven solutions into your production.

Perspective A For industrial companies — materials, tooling, tool life
01The problem

Heat and deformation forces destroy tools. That is exactly where science comes in.

During the hot forming of copper and non-ferrous metal alloys, conventional hot-work steels soften under the process heat – tools wear quickly, and scrap and downtime increase. This is exactly where our materials development comes in.

Heat & wear

At high forming temperatures conventional tool steels lose their strength – the most expensive variable on any press line.

Short tool life

Frequent tool changes mean downtime, rework and rising unit costs.

Lack of assessment

Without a sound metallurgical analysis, material selection remains an expensive guessing game.

02Research & development
Development & intellectual property

Materials that perform under load.

Dr. Krugljakow develops high-performance tooling materials and processes for strengthening them – from the initial idea through the patent to introduction in live production.

Several of these developments are in use today with industrial partners in Europe and the CIS region; further projects are currently under way.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Details after confidentiality

Specific materials, processes and plant results are discussed once a mutual non-disclosure agreement is in place. That protects your developments and ours.

Perspective B For technology providers — market entry & commercial agency
01The task

An innovation becomes a market – if someone builds the bridge.

An outstanding materials or process technology from the CIS region encounters language barriers, different standards, closed networks and legal hurdles in Europe. WBH takes on precisely this bridging role – scientifically grounded and proven over nearly four decades.

Access to the EU market

A direct line to the German and European metallurgy and manufacturing industry.

Legally secure representation

Commercial agency under sections 84 et seq. of the German Commercial Code (HGB): initiation, negotiation and support through to order placement.

A bilingual bridge

Negotiation and documentation in German, Russian and English – without friction losses.

02Existing mandates

German manufacturers already trust this bridge.

As commercial agent for established German manufacturers, WBH organises deliveries and market access – including for:

SpanSetLifting and load-securing technologyMain dealer
WDIWestfälische Drahtindustrie – wire & cold-heading wireCommercial agency
Wieland-WerkeNon-ferrous semi-finished products, brass profilesCommercial agency
bedra · BerkenhoffWire for electrical discharge machining (EDM)Commercial agency

Result

Introduction at MKM · 1997

Industrial use, confirmed in the works assessment.

This story is the proof of the model: a scientific innovation from the East was assessed, adapted and successfully introduced into German industry via WBH – with a measurable result.

The same approach is open to technology providers today: we assess your technology scientifically, position it in the right market segment and represent your interests through to the contract.
